About This Project
A batch processing service built for an online marketplace to automate their manual payment reconciliation workflow. The service runs nightly, pulling transaction data from the Stripe API and comparing it against the client's internal order database to identify mismatches.
Discrepancies such as missing charges, duplicate refunds, and amount mismatches are flagged in a report emailed to the finance team each morning. The service also generates weekly settlement summaries broken down by vendor for the marketplace's multi-seller payout process.
